The goal of the traditional scientific readings, dedicated to the memory of the Institute's founder, Academician Yaroslav Stepanovych Pidstryhach, is to promote the scientific growth and professional development of young scientists through communication, exchange of ideas with both young and senior colleagues, and gaining experience in presenting scientific results. The conference is a long-standing tradition of the Institute, bringing together young researchers for many years.
Presentation materials will be published electronically on the conference website after peer review. The best reports will be awarded and recommended for publication in the scientific journal "Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics".
To popularize the name and significant contribution of Academician Yaroslav Stepanovych Pidstryhach to the development of mechanics, mathematics, and mathematical modeling, the conference will hold a competition for the Ya. S. Pidstryhach Prize for young scientists in the fields of "Mechanics", "Mathematics", and "Mathematical Modeling" according to the Regulations on the Ya. S. Pidstryhach Prize. (Note: The prize competition is for Ukrainian participants only).
The working languages of the conference are Ukrainian and English.
